Boulder A river runs through it…..really…..the Boulder River runs along the south end of town right by the high school where the Panthers play football and children swim in the local pool in the summer. Basin Nine miles south of Boulder on I-15 Exit 156. Basin is a local artists community located on the Boulder River in historic mining town in the middle of the Beaverhead – Deer Lodge National Forests. A café & saloon, a pizza parlor, pottery gallery, and an old mine site. Several radon health mines, camping, fishing, hiking and floating on the Boulder River.
Jefferson City Don’t blink when you pass Exit 176 on I-15 between Boulder and Helena or you will miss Jefferson City and the home of Montana’s favorite botanical gardens and arboretum. Just a couple of miles off the interstate is Tizer Gardens where Wizards and Fairy’s gather every June to spread love and joy in the woods. Fun for kids and adults alike.
